The Lake Park area of Huntington Beach is a sub-section of the bigger area of Downtown Huntington Beach, is within a short walk to the beach and Main Street, making this area a true Beach Community. A couple key elements of this area that distinguish it from other areas in Downtown Huntington Beach are the fact that the homes were originally built from the early 1900′s with most of the homes having been built out between the 1940 – 1960′s. This gives the “hood” a custom mature feel with classic tree lined streets and a good mix of older established homes and newly built large mongo houses.
A very important part of this area is the fact that the lots cannot be subdivided like in the Old Towne and Numbered Streets. Most of our lots are about 50 feet wide (there are exceptions, both larger and smaller) that keep a more spacious traditional neighborhood feel.
This area has plenty of families, easy access to our schools, Huntington Beach High School, Dwyer Middle School and Smith Elementary.
Downtown Huntington Beach is the most active beach area in Southern California, actually turning into a madhouse during the summer months and pretty much any warm weekend year round, which happens pretty often!
We are just outside the mayhem of downtown on the weekends, still an easy walk downtown or quick bike ride to the beach. Slap some surf racks on your bike, cruise down to the beach with your board and grab a session while others are swarming in cars looking for parking like ants scrambling over a grain of sugar!
